Tribute to Santana

Persuasion is a song from Santana’s first smash album released back in 1969. Persuasion is also the name of the best and only consistently performing Santana tribute band in Canada.

Formed in 2010 and based in Montreal, the band has established itself as the ultimate in Santana tributes, paying homage to one of the world’s best guitarists, Carlos Santana.

With singing guitar riffs, infectious rhythms and explosive percussion, Persuasion faithfully recreates most of Santana’s first three albums and many of his later hits as well.

The band is comprised of 7 musicians, all seasoned pros that have united to perform the music and the spirit of Carlos Santana and the Santana Band. Their sound features his melodic, blues-based guitar lines set against Latin and African rhythms. Once you feel and hear the power of Persuasion you won’t be able to sit still!

Persuasion has performed at many of the great clubs and events in and around Québec and Eastern Ontario.
