On March 19, 1982, the rock and metal world tragically lost a rising star, the incredibly talented guitarist Randy Rhoads. Rhoads left an indelible mark on music history as the primary songwriter and recording artist for Ozzy Osbourne’s debut album, “Blizzard of Ozz,” and its follow-up, the cult classic “Diary of a Madman.” The band, Blizzard of Ozz, pays tribute to this significant period in Ozzy’s solo career.
This dedicated tribute band performs both groundbreaking albums in their entirety, treating fans to a journey through the music that defined an era. In addition to these iconic tracks, they also perform a selection of fan-favorite hits from the guitarists who succeeded Rhoads after his untimely death.
Songs like “Crazy Train,” “Mr. Crowley,” “Flying High Again,” and “I Don’t Know” from the “Blizzard of Ozz” and “Diary of a Madman” albums resonate powerfully in their live performances. They also perform hits like “Shot in the Dark,” “Bark at the Moon,” and “No More Tears,” which were released after Rhoads’ passing.
As a nod to the band that shaped Ozzy’s career before his solo venture, Blizzard of Ozz also includes some Black Sabbath tracks for the ‘Die-hards’ – the die-hard fans who have supported Ozzy through his entire musical journey.
