A tribute to the Dixie Chicks
Jaime Lee and Pauline Doslea have been performing together in many different situations for a total of 10 years. Both girls have experience fronting Rock and Country bands and each have had their share of tribute act experience. When Pauline has a spare moment she fronts a Dixie Chicks tribute act while Jaime still performs as a Shania Twain impersonator in a show that has taken her all over North America, including four months in Las Vegas and recently returned from Amsterdam. Their most recent collaboration is “Fried Chix” which consists of the two girls and their guitars. Both Jaime and Pauline sing lead, play guitar and their harmonies have become what they are most known for at their shows. They have been playing 3 to 6 nights a week for the past 7 months in a variety of situations including, nightclubs, casinos, raceways and corporate events around southern Ontario. Their material lends itself to entertaining all age groups, with songs from artists such as, Norah Jones, Stevie Nicks, Sheryl Crow, Crosby Stills and Nash, Van Morrison, Aerosmith, Blind Melon, Jack Johnson, Pearl Jam and much more. |
