The FabFour - Canada's best-known Beatles tribute show

The FabFour is comprised of four Toronto-area based musicians that form Canada's best-known Beatles tribute show. The band plays large indoor and outdoor festivals along with being regulars on the stage and diner theatre circuits. Over the past three years the band has built up a steady following of fans often playing to crowds of numbering in the thousands.

Paul performed by: Mark Harrison
Mark Harrison has been playing music since he was fourteen, and formed his first band at sixteen. He has been in several bands including two successful Beatles tribute bands, The Barrons and The Shoes. He has been heavily influenced by both Paul McCartney and the Beatles.
Two years ago, while on a trip to England, he purchased a left-handed Hofner Beatle bass and taught himself to play it. "After meeting Paul Mccartney several years ago, I was inspired to do it left-handed...play bass, that is."

John performed by: John A. MacDonald
John A. has a wealth of performing experience and enthusiasm. The newest member of the FabFour, John A. adds a versatility to and already super lineup with his ability to play guitar, keyboards and harmonica. He is also well known as founding member of the popular southern Ontario rock group, The Shaakers. When asked about his role in the FabFour John A. replied, "My name is John and I too play the guitar and sometimes I play the fool..."

George performed by: Tom Walsh
Tom Walsh has been playing guitar since he was fifteen. He bought his first guitar for $85.00 and taught himself to play by listening to the Beatles. He has been heavily influenced by the memorable, melodic tones of the sixties, of which the Beatles set the standards. He formed his first band in University and has been in a number of bands since. Most recently he was in a band called Skip'n' Beats. "A quote? No, No, I'm the quiet one."

Ringo performed by: John Turfryer
John Turfryer has been playing drums ever since he began banging on pots and pans at the tender age of three. Growing up in the 1960's, he was heavily inspired by percussion stylings of both Ringo Starr of the Beatles and Charlie Watts of the Rolling Stones. He has played in several bands over the years, most notable as a founding member and drummer of The Shakers, one of southern Ontario's most popular bands. His favourite Beatle album is "Let it be." "I'm definitely NOT the quite one"

What people are saying

"I have seen The FabFour in concert a number of times and have thoroughly enjoyed every show. They capture the sound and the mannerisms of The Beatles' live shows making their performance a blast from the past that no Beatles fan should miss."
Andrew Croft, Publisher, Beatlology Magazine
